Data Protection Policy
When you request information from a site owned by Nimble Group IT Ltd or sign up to any of our services or buy things from us, we obtain information about you. This statement explains how we look after that information and what we do with it.
We have a legal duty under the Data Protection Act and GDPR to prevent your information falling into the wrong hands. We must also ensure that the data we hold is accurate, adequate, relevant and not excessive.
As a business we gather contact information about companies and employees in 3 ways.
1. Information that comes directly from you. Whenever we collect information from you, we will make it clear which information is required in order to provide you with the information, service or goods you need. You do not have to provide us with any additional information unless you choose to.
2. Subscription based GDPR and DMA compliant data services. We will use these services which will obtain information on an opt-in basis to enable us to market to key individuals in companies that may be interested in our technologies and solutions.
3. Business networking sites and social media. We research public information available to us to understand and market to key individuals in companies that may be interested in our technologies and solutions.
We store your information securely on our cloud based GDPR compliant CRM and Service Ticket software – salesforce.com, we restrict access to those who have a need to know, and we train our staff in handling the information securely.
We would like to contact you in future to tell you about other services we provide, and ways in which you might like to support Nimble Group IT Ltd. You have the right to ask us not to contact you in this way. We will always aim to provide a clear method for you to opt out. You can also contact us directly at any time to tell us not to send you any future marketing material.
We carry out a joint mailing with carefully selected other organisations, in order to tell you about products and services we think you might be interested in. Again, you have the right to opt out of this.
You have the right to a copy of all the information we hold about you (apart from a very few things which we may be obliged to withhold because they concern other people as well as you). To obtain a copy, either ask for an application form to be sent to you, or write to the Data Protection Officer at our registered office. In order to comply with GDPR, we have revised our SAR procedures to accommodate the 30 day timeframe for providing the requested information, and for making this provision free of charge.
Cookie Policy
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.
Our website uses cookies, by using our website and agreeing to this policy, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy.
A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.
We use both “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies on the website. Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies will remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach a specified expiry date.
We will use the session cookies to: keep track of you whilst you navigate the website; keep track of items you are interested in and increase website security. We will use the persistent cookies to: enable our website to recognise you when you visit and to keep track of your preferences in relation to your use of our website.
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information. Google’s privacy policy is available at: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.
Our advertisers and payment services providers may also send you cookies.
We publish Google AdSense interest-based advertisements on our website. These are tailored by Google to reflect your interests. To determine your interests, Google will track your behaviour on our website and on other websites across the web using the DART cookie. You can view, delete or add interest categories associated with your browser using Google’s Ads Preference Manager, available at: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/. You can opt out of the AdSense partner network cookie at: http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/ or by using the NAI’s (Network Advertising Initiative’s) multi-cookie opt-out mechanism at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. However, these opt-out mechanisms use cookies, and if you clear the cookies from your browser your opt-out will not be maintained. To ensure that an opt-out is maintained in respect of a particular browser, you should use the Google browser plug-in available at: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/plugin.
Most browsers allow you to reject all cookies, whilst some browsers allow you to reject just third party cookies. For example, in Internet Explorer (version 9) you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block All Cookies” using the sliding selector. Blocking all cookies will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites, including this one.
Your online experience may be negatively affected if you choose to disable cookies.
